Lenovo Yoga Tablet review: long battery life in an otherwise disappointing device

Lenovo's Yoga Ultrabook is often name-dropped as one of the best Windows 8 convertibles out there. It's no surprise, then, that the company would want to

Sturdy, lightweight design ; Offers good functionality for the price ; Great battery life

Poor display ; Sluggish performance ; Heavily skinned version of Android

The Yoga Tablet sports an innovative kickstand design and offers great battery life, but those pluses don't make up for poor performance and a mediocre display.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 review

The Yoga Tablet's innovative kickstand and 14-hour battery life are fantastic, but its interface is ugly and buggy.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet review

A laptop hinge isn't something you're supposed to think about: it opens so you can use your computer, closes when you're done. The end. But Lenovo's turned its swiveling parts into a genuine...

Hinge is really useful ; Thin design ; Long battery life

Terrible performance ; Ugly Android customizations ; Bad, low-res display

Lenovo got the hinge right, and everything else wrong

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10

Despite some interesting and useful design tricks, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 is just a good Android tablet at a good price, at a time when there are great options available at great prices.

Sturdy aluminum construction. Useful kickstand. Relatively affordable.

Heavy-handed Android skin. Software bugs. Unimpressive display and performance.

Media and Conclusions The Yoga Tablet supports every media format we test for, including DivX, Xvid, AVI, and H.264 video at resolutions up to 1080p. Audio support is equally solid, including OGG, FLAC, and WAV.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 review

Lenovo added two tablets to its convertible Yoga line with the Yoga Tablet 8 and Yoga Tablet 10. Though they're aesthetically unique, with a design that features a rounded spine and kickstand, their identical internal specs, mediocre screens, and...

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10’s superslim, unique design makes it easy to hold. It’s also only $300.

The tablet’s low-resolution screen looks fuzzy and oversaturated, and the heavily modified operating system is downright ugly.

Though it feels well-built and has a handy kickstand, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet’s poor performance makes it hard to justify even the low cost.

Review Lenovo IdeaTab Yoga Tablet 10

Kicking it. The innovative IdeaTab Yoga Tablet 10 comes with an integrated kickstand which allows switching between what Lenovo calls stand, hold, and tilt mode. Is this standout feature enough to differentiate the tablet with its middle-of-the-road...

Innovative design with integrated kickstand; Excellent battery life; Bright screen

Dismal wireless reception; Hardware is not very powerful; Display resolution is too low

Google Nexus 10, Asus Memo Pad FHD 10 Tablet, Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 Tablet, or the Apple iPad 4.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet Review

Lenovo has built a number of Android tablets in the past, so it was logical to expect some kind of hardware update at this time of the year. Instead, we saw the introduction of a completely new line of product, […]

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 Review

You can say that Lenovo loves poking its nose everywhere, as the Chinese company is well known for manufacturing a broad range of tablets. Although they've made several Android based tablets to date, none of them have been able to find that path to...

Super inexpensive ; Impressive battery life ; Interesting design ; Solid construction

Disorganized homescreen layout ; Poor camera performance

Lenovo might still be trying to gain some traction in the Android tablet space, but they’re definitely getting our attention with the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10. It may not be a high powered thing that would capture the imagination of people, but the...
