The JVC GY-DV5000 is the follow up to the highly regarded GY-DV500. I have used both cameras and can tell you that this new camera is a major upgrade over its predecessor. And that's an understatement. First of all (and most importantly) the DV5000's ...

Well I just got the bad news that this camcorder had a recall & I just missed the cutoff date for a free repair courtesy of JVC. An error code of E01 appears on the LCD screen indicating it is in "safe mode" rendering it inoperable, GREAT! I've used it...

My son was due to be born just before Christmas of 2005, we were pretty broke at the time but wanted something nice for the new baby, so my husband and I pooled our money to buy a Christmas present for the both of us instead of buying gifts for each ...

JVC's TH-M505 looks great but offers only mediocre sound quality.

Great for the Novice and the Pro
This is my first digital camera/camcorder. I wanted to shelve my bulky JVC VHS-C camcorder (GR-AX730U), and also put away my old 35mm camera, for a unit that combined the features of both. Though each performed reasonably well, it just became a hassle ...
Considering the low price, this camera has tons of features and the output is awesome. All you need is a Firewire cable and you can start editing movies right on your computer. This camera is actually less expensive than many VHS-C analog/Hi-8 analog...

Remote Control, LCD View Finder, Sound
This works great. Once I got the remote from the seller that goes with the machine, it has worked fine. Just wish they weren't doing away with making these combos. My husband takes control of the DVR on the cable line so I have to have something to...
It's hard to make an argument that the SU-DH1 is worth your hard-earned $130. I'm sorry to say that this "surround sound" adapter box for your headphones offers few excellent sounding options.

Almost one month ago my family decided to purchase the JVC-XV-D200 DVD player and I feel it was one of the best purchases that my family has made in the last five years. The clarity and sound is unbelieably better then any other DVD player I have seen...
I have owned my player for about a year now, and i hawe found it to still keep up with my expectations, as long as you keep updating the setups every time you change betwen dvd and cd playback... The thing is that it dosn´t perform at all witout me ...

This dvd player is a must buy for entry level buyers. The progressive scan makes it perfect for big screen hdtv sets, so it wont be outdated in 2 yrs.

Lightweight, easy to use
It's probably just a little too late to ask for one of these for the holidays, but you can still plan for next year (hey, Valentine's Day is coming, right') by checking out Sound and Vision's review of 70-inch HD-ILA Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS)...
small, very easy to use, great idea
Although it takes great footage directly to a hard drive, it's being held back by a few problems.
light, easy to use, good zoom, fits in my pocket (kinda),
