HTC One M9 Smartphone Review

Nice soundbox. HTC tries to keep old strengths with the One M9 and does not really change the design of its flagship smartphone. The speakers still create a very good sound, but the latest version once again reveals problems in respect of the reworked...

Great design and build quality, Great speakers, IPX3, Expandable storage, Good connectivity, High range of the Bluetooth connection, Good GPS, Fast storage, Bright and high-contrast display, Fast SoC

but the GPU loses performance under load, Comparatively bad camera, Meager battery runtimes, No quick-charge or wireless charging, QWERTY keyboard even in the German layout, Pricing

The HTC One M9, unfortunately, lacks any real innovations, but the Taiwanese manufacturer can improve some aspects, so the M9 is a very good smartphone. The high-resolution SLCD3 panel can convince with the high luminance and the good contrast ratio....

HTC One M9 Review: Hands-on

The highly rumored (and leaked) HTC One M9 was unveiled yesterday at MWC and we were in the room for Peter Chou's presentation on stage. The HTC One M9 looks very similar than its predecessor the O...

With the release HTC One M9, the Taiwanese manufacturer played it safe this year with this highly elegant but unsurprising device. The camera has been improved with a 20.7 Mp sensor and 4K video, however we still need to compare it to the best camera...

HTC One M9 ( 32GB, silver gold)

HTC's 2015 top-of-the-line phone recycles the same sleek design as last year's M8 , sticking to the luxurious all-metal case and 1080p HD screen while incorporating key spec improvements -- most notably a speedy, state-of-the-art Qualcomm Snapdragon...

The HTC One M9 inherits its predecessor's stunning metal design and strong speakers, and has a bright, sharp display. It runs the latest version of Android, and the new Sense 7 software is simple, responsive and highly customisable. It's one of the few...

The M9's camera quality and battery life don't measure up to its competitors. For better or worse, the phone feels like a rerun of last year's HTC One.

The updated HTC One M9 packs speed and software improvements into a handset that remains lustworthy in middle age, but it doesn't exceed the competition where it counts.

HTC One M9 review:

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Such seems to be the guiding philosophy behind the HTC One M9 , and for the most part, the approach works. The One M9 is a beautiful Android phone worthy of your consideration, unless you already own last year's HTC...

The HTC One M9 Review: Part 2

A good amount of time ago, we posted part one of our HTC One M9 review, which gave a good idea of some critical aspects of the One M9's performance and design. Unfortunately, due to HTC's last minute software changes there was a need to redo some of...

Now that we finally have all of the pieces together, we can come to some proper conclusions about the HTC One M9. For those that haven’t read part one of this review, it’s really necessary to do so to understand the context in which these comments are...

HTC One M9 review: A disappointingly good phone

HTC makes only modest improvements to one of our favorite phones, while competitors take major leaps forward.

Excellent build quality and all-metal design ; Fantastic stereo speakers

Unreliable camera ; Mediocre performance and battery life for a flagship phone

The One M9 is a modest update of last year's One M8. It's a good phone, but doesn't advance the state of the art.

Review: HTC One M9

The new One looks the same as the last, but it has a new camera, some more intelligent software, and an incredible number of customization...

As beautiful as the Ones before. Great screen, great battery life. HTC's onto something, letting you customize your phone so much. Uh Oh Protection will replace your phone, no questions asked

The camera just still can't keep up. The One wants to be responsive and aware, but it's just not smart enough to be really useful yet

HTC One M9 review: Iconic metal dual tone design with focus on personalization

HTC One devices are easily distinguishable from other smartphones, which is a bit unique in our black slab world. Matthew spent another week with the One M9 and gives it an almost perfect 10.

Quality construction ; Nice typing experience ; Protective case forms stand for phones, tablets ; Works with iOS, Windows, Android

Slight rocking motion when typing

HTC continues to improve its iconic One design line and the One M9 is its best. HTC listened to customer feedback on the One M7 and One M8 with the M9 better in every aspect, from hardware to software.

HTC One M9 review: more repeat than sequel

Déjà vu (noun): a feeling that one has seen or heard something before I've spent the better part of the last two weeks with HTC's new One M9. It's the latest flagship from the once-powerful...

Great design ; Speedy performance ; Solid battery life

Disappointing camera ; Power button too close to volume keys

HTC One M9 review: Another year, another modest step forward

HTC's 2015 flagship was designed to feel more premium than previous models, but it runs the risk of feeling dated two years on. It's sturdy and plenty powerful with its Snapdragon 810 chipset, but the M9's 20-megapixel camera doesn't seem any better...

Great performance ; Top-tier build quality ; Sense 7 is lightweight and thoughtful ; Quick charging works well

Main camera is lackluster ; Screen isn't as vivid as last year's model ; BoomSound speakers lack some oomph ; Battery lifeishit-or-miss

It might sound maudlin, but I really wanted to love the One M9 as much as I did the One M7. This seemed like the year HTC would nail it again. They came close! I'm still surprised that it's Sense that I'm most impressed with. BlinkFeed is a first-rate...
