The remote control is 'extremely' cheap - the look and feel is terrible. Setting the time you have to continuously press the rubbery buttons instead of just holding down the button like usual! It takes me back to when remote's first came out, shame on...

It tunes in to all available freeview channels fairly quickly. Instructions are clear. Makes good quality recordings on SP (up to 2 hrs). Haven't tried LP. Enables you to title your recorded disk.

Cooling fan is a bit noisey and can spoil your enjoyment if you're watching the programme you're recording. When re-titling a recorded disk, the machine does sometimes lock up and has to be re-booted (ie switched off and then on again).

The timer's great. It allows for programmes over-running and gives a few minutes grace either way.

Utter rubbish when you want to delete a recorded programme. It freezes. The only way is to select DiscOp menu and wipe the whole disc.

I have not really been able to find any as I to this day still have not managed to get it to work as it should.

Too complicated - driving me mad. Still unable to set a recording so noo use at all to me really.
