Pioneer DV-410V DVD Player

Pioneer was the first to bring in Laserdisc players way back in 1980, so they sure seem to know about optical disc playback. 29 years later, their DVD players are still respected and purchased all over, even in our country. They might not be as...

At Rs. 6490, we are definitely impressed with the player, as the good points outweigh the cons, in number as well as extent. It does not have a fancy design, but definitely has nice video playback. It has a few minor quirks in motion, but not worse...

Pioneer DV-410V DVD Player

Introducing Pioneer's DV-410V - proof that the humble standard-def DVD player lives on!

It's joined by an RGB and composite-enabled SCART socket, which is hanging on in there despite being an endangered species, plus component and composite video outputs. You can connect the deck to your AV receiver using the HDMI socket, analogue stereo...

It is the real deal

This is a great deal. The quality, both sound and video, is spectacular. I am very pleased with the unit.

Great upconversion to 1080p ; Great sound quality ; Easy to set up ; Easy to use ; Priced under $100 w/extended warranty

It's a little noisy. (I know it's nit-picking, but Ihad to put something)

Good upscaling video quality

This is good upscaling DVD player to own before moving to HD. Cheap, good quality, plays everything. Comes with USB input. Outputs are comprehensive - HDMI, component, optical & coax digital out, S-Video, composite.

Good upscaling of video to 1080p ; USB input ; Nice design. Good quality build

Wished it could play 720p AVI. Could not recognise my un-powered USB 60Gb hard disk

Wonderful deal on a upconverting Pioneer DVD player.

If you are looking for a basic DVD player that upconverts, get this model. For the price it is worth it many times over. Pioneer is one of the better models for electronics. The do not fail as much as say Sony,Panasonic etc.. They always have the most...

Deep Blacks. Upconverting to 1080p. Video and Audio are both great. Size is great being so small not taking up much space at all

No toslink. Just your basic remote, not a universal

PRISTINE Video and GREAT Audio THIS ONE HAS IT ALL

I have owned several units over the many years that DVD has existed and this unit is the best odf them all. I can not imagine that for $99 that there is one better. Pioneer has FANTASTIC build quality. I am an Electronics Tech and rarely see pioneer...

Deep Blacks, Vibrant Accurate colours, BEST Skin tones I have seen in a DVD Player. Chroma Adjustment. Audio Section is Crystal Clear and Dynamic. Great Layout of Buttons on unit and remote. GREAT LOOKS

Was Not Free. But NONE are lol. No Toslink Audio terminal

So far, so good.

So far, picture quality is notably excellent, even on an old Trinitron with S-VHS input. (I'll be getting an HDTV later ; this upscaling player is prep work.) The firmware upgrade process mentioned here and elsewhere worked flawlessly for me-- and it...

The remote /could/ be more powerful. You may want to think about a cheap-ish universal remote with good reviews for IR output strength. I've used some that can be pointed at the opposite wall (mildly reflective) and still control A/V gear

Pioneer DV-410V-K Multi-Format 1080p Upscaling DVD Player

Overall I love this player. It has a few problems but it's a nice upgrade for me.

I like the slim profile, full range of console buttons and the ability to play MPEG4-compressed AVIs. You can use any USB device (thumb drive, hard drive, etc) as long as it's formatted as FAT32. I have tested a 40gb hdd on this player and it works...

It takes a few seconds (around 10 seconds) from boot up until the player recognizes the disc or USB device and can play it. Maybe all new DVD players are like this but my previous player was a Pioneer DV-341 which is much faster.

Product Specifications

The DV-410V is a DVD player that does exactly what you'd expect, plus that little bit extra. The player has an HDMI output with 1080p upscaling, ensuring that what you see is of the highest possible quality, regardless of the source. The DV-410V also has a front-in USB, which means that you can also play music or watch movies (the system supports the "Playback Movie Files in USB" standard) from a USB memory stick. You can even create a program (or "playlist"), allowing you to enjoy USB content in the order you'd like. Or, for a different experience, watch your digital photos, displayed in High Resolution JPEG format, whilst simultaneously listening to music. In addition, the DV-410V has Virtual Surround Sound, which enables surround sound effects from just two speakers. When you're watching a DVD, you hear a deep, realistic 3D soundspace from a pair of stereo speakers.
