Item works perfectly on my Canon EOS. SHipping was VERY FAST. It actually came a day earlier than was expected. Lightweight too :-)

Invaluable

I use a velcro tie on mine, 1 to wrap up the cord during storage. 2 to tie it to the tripod when using it. A small magnet on the back would be good so it was not swaying from the tripod. ( I just used the aforementioned velcro strap)

Works as advertised, its a wired shutter release with lock. Small and light weight.

Not really a con, but a nice storage pouch would be nice.

Pefect Pics

I am an ameteur photographer using a Canon Rebel DSLR and constantly attempting to take those hard to get shots (eg. Fireworks, lightning strikes, etc). Pressing the button on the camera creates a slight vibration that can greatly affect the shot, but...

I wish my camera would accept a wireless remote, but this is no fault of this individual product. I do wish the cord was a little bit longer, otherwise, it does as it states every single time i use it

Decent Release

its a 3/32 or 2.5mm stereo audio jack. So if you want to add a 12' extension cable http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882719444 - this is the longest cable I could find on NE plus it has free shipping.

works with my t3i and has a hold release that will hold it until you un-release it - which is great for night photography

Very short cable (2ft). -1/2egg ; To me it seems upside down, the cable should come out from the bottom not the top and the body should be a little longer for bigger hands. -1/2egg
