DTV Remotes are expensive, especially when have to buy 2 or 3 remotes every year (for every TV set in the rooms); they have to be replaced yearly as it starts to stick!I don't think either BestBuy or DirectTV should charge that much for a remote!...

We use this remote control for our Direct TV. we have three of them we like it because its easy to use. They are very durable, we have dropped them many times and they still work.

This remote is infra-red only, not radio frequency. So if your DVR is in a closed cabinet, this remote will not work. Get the RC65R on line for a lower price instead.

Remote works great. The setup can be a little confussing but its hard to come up with instructions for every make and model of equipment that you may connect to your system but after a little bit of trial and error I finally got Everything working....

I purchased because it lights up but the second day the light quit!

This is a great universal remote! The set up was extremely easy to do, even for someone that is not technically inclined. It lights up in the dark, which is a nice feature.

I returned it because I didn't need it, but when I do I will buy it again.

It's good remote. Little trouble finding the setting, but I got it.
