This thing is a BREEZE to set up to use in a MacBook Pro, gives you faster performance by keeping the OS and apps on the drive. I keep my user folder on the internal drive because my documents folder and my music and itunes folder are HUGE. BTW--I...

Plextor PX-128M1S 128GB SSD

The Plextor 128M1S performed better than any of the traditional hard drives we referenced, and it even held its own against a 15k RPM SCSI drive. Plextor kept the aesthetics of this SSD simple and to the point which is something I like. Its surface...

When they were first launched, the Intel X25-M series of SSD was rightly crowned king of SSD's. Is it still king, let's find out in this review.

Intel X25-M Mainstream Solid State Drive ( SSDSA2MH080G201 ) 34nm Product Line

There are cheaper SSDs out there, but keep in mind that you get what you pay for. These Intel drives are way ahead of the competition and if you want that advantage you'll have to pay a premium. The size is well enough to run Windows Vista 64 or...

Super Talent ( FEM16GFDL ) Vast station

I turned my father in-law's Dell Mini 9 from a kitty cat into a lion with this SSD. A troublesome install of XP on a 4GB SSD is now an entirely new netbook thanks to this wonderful and inexpensive upgrade. Its going to be very hard to give it back. :)...

OCZ OCZSSDMPES-16G Mini PCIe 16GB Mini PCIe SATA Internal Solid state disk...

I had to go out and buy a screwdriver that was small enough to get the screws out. If you have a screwdriver for eyeglasses it should work fine. It would be much better if Mini PCIe was designed to install like SODIMMS with the little clips.

This is my first time using Corsair SSD's and I am quiet pleased with the results. I have a 256Gb SSD in my PS3, a 512Gb SSD in my Macbook Pro, and the Corsair in my HP laptop. Compared to the other drives I can't really say that it doesn't perform as...

Intel 750 Series 400GB 2.5" PCI Express 3.0 x4 (NVMe) (SSDPE2MW400G401)

I remember when the cost of solid state drives was > 1GB/$. This SSD is below that threshold and offers major performance gains. Although the price is steep when compared to conventional SSD, I frankly see it as a bargain.
