I have received firmware version 2.0 drives that support Trim and Garbage Collection. Trim does not work with Raid, but that is not the drive's fault. Msi Nf980-G65 mb handles these drives no problem.

Intel SSD DC P3700 Series

With the introduction of its SSD DC P3700, P3600, and P3500, Intel is giving us our first taste of the PCIe-based NVMe specification. We take the flagship P3700 for a drive in its 800 GB and 1.6 TB incarnations. Just how fast is the future of storage?

It takes longer for my computer to POST and start up the BIOS than for this drive to load Windows 7 Ultimate. Did not see any noticeable increase in load times for game like ES4 or Battlefield BC2.

Kingston M.2 2280 SATA SSD

It's interesting that Intel chose to use a PCIE interface that utilizes components for storage that are about the size of a RAM module. Add a larger PCB containing more storage and it kind of seems like we're one half step towards using something like...

Building a friend a new gaming RIG boot times are crazy. 20 seconds total. 10 for BIOS and 10 for Windows 10-64bit. Ranked really well on benchmarks.

Don't buy this product. I've tried for weeks to get the "garbage collection" to work. It just doesn't work. When I called support, a recording goes on for about 3 minutes then says "press 1". Whether or not you press 1, it cuts you off. I tried to...
