I purchased my drive back in September. It lasted maybe 2-3 weeks before it died. No warning. Tech Support was basically useless in that they didn't care about diagnosing the problem. To their credit, they did immediately offer to replace the...

Well... I like this drive. A lot. It's very portable and looks cool (being a graphic designer, overall looks count a lot to me). Plus it comes with a handy leather-booklet-like pouch. Although I expected it to perform a lot faster, I'm not entirely...

I had to ship the first one back at my own expense, I am trying to call the company to see what can be done about the second one because it's ridiculous that I'll have to keep paying for replacements that less then a month but no one answers the phone...

Page/Swap file had to be adjusted to not take all the drive space, other than that, very happy with this product.

Certainly not the best storage solution to be had considering some of the SSD competition and even struggles to keep up with old rotational drives

This SSD works well and was a good value.

Brought one of these to test. Screw holes don't line up with the SSD Drives. I didn't expect top quality for the price, however build quality is very poor. One star due to price point.
i hope this is a fluke.
I bought this drive in the middle of September, it is now dead just under two months later. Amazon won't service a return over 30 days and SanDisk have not made things easy in terms of returns. They also only offer support for Windows and Mac users,...

Not reliable. Having trouble finding the warranty policy on their site.

Been running two of these for over a week now and have had no problems in a Windows 7 workstation setting like the previous reviewer has claimed. They are everything you need in a SSD for a desktop
Most other SSDs that I've dealt with have hard errors from time to time, or problems with data corruption at sustained high-speed use. This drive has never had a hard error, and I measured it's through-put as about 95% of rated maximum. Great little...
I'm only seeing about 275 MBps read and write speed, but it looks like my SATA-II controller is the bottleneck, not the drive itself. It's still easily 3x faster than the 1 TB Seagate Baracuda it's caching. I didn't want to sink a ton of money into my...
Other Thoughts: Definitely worth the leap whether you're upgrading or building a new computer. Also recomend a fresh install of windows instead of cloning a drive image over. So far no hiccups and rock solid buy with confidence !
PDP RMA the SSD. but i had to left a messege. they called me back.. i had to submit the from... it was a pain. in the future, i will be going for Intel sse.
This is the second piece of hardware I've had to RMA today. The other was a Corsair power supply. I guess buying brand name doesn't save you from the RMA headache anymore... :(
The inexpensive price of the Patriot Warp V.2 helps it stand out among solid-state hard drives, but its performance shows few significant benefits over normal hard disks. You'd be better off buying a fast 7,200rpm laptop hard drive or selling your...

At least it will now have TRIM support for Win 7 and will retain it's original lightning fast speed:) This is my third review on this item and thought I'd clue a few people in, and if this works like when it was new and stays just as fast over time,...
good size at a low(er) price. worked perfectly in my Eee PC 900
In this case this Crucial SSD stands for Slow, Stuttering Device. Installed XP pro on it with an Atom based embedded system board and kind of works. Big lag time between double clicking an item before it runs. I used a Transcend 16GB 300x compact flash...

The Patriot Memory Pyro is a decent SSD among its peers and will improve your computer's performance significantly when used as a replacement hard drive.
Very fast, I am getting approximately 900-1000mbs read speeds on 2 of these in raid 1. I love the extended life (writes) on these units, 3.6 PB
got back a new drive, retail package. rma is slow and no reply to my e-mail. i did call and they answered and told me the progress of the rma. the rma process needs work however i think they stand behind it and a ten year warranty is the best
after several months of use, I am still happy I bought it. Windows Ready Boost works well, and is very easy to use.
