I sent it back. I was looking for a big speed increase based on what I know about SSD's. I did not get it. I was planning on making this a dedicated "swap file" drive.

If your netbook's running short on storage space and it has a Mini PCIe drive, Crucial's N125 and N100 are worth considering as an alternative to buying a new, HDD-equipped machine. The 32GB versions are cheaper than 32GB SDHC cards, and 64GB SDHCs a...

This is a great upgrade to any machine running on a 5400/7200 RPM machine. OS loads in about 6 seconds ready to use. Most apps open instantly. My clients love the speed increase. Combine with a cheap mobo/cpu and you have a really good business machine...

Kinda spooky that four months seems to be the exact amount of life that most people are getting out of this drive. It's almost doubled in price since I bought mine in January, too. I was going to get another to set up a RAID in case this happens again...

Our Heavy suite pretty much summarizes the results we saw in synthetic tests. The SSD720 is around 20% faster but most of the difference comes from its faster read speed, which is largely due to SSD320's poor read performance with incompressible data.

A great, Extremely Fast SSD at a great price. Gskill is awesome with their RMA and they should be a great company to (hopefully) see flourish.
Works in 2.5 drive laptop with an additional connector
Using USB interface: (I dont have an eSata port to test) ; Read speeds for large files of 80MB/sec+ I was able to transfer a 1.5GB ISO file in less than a minute ; Write speeds for large files of 10-20MB/sec ; Great to transfer ISO images or any other...

I wish the GB/$ ratio was better.

I think in time SSD may be a standard. My laptop from Sony uses RAID 1 SSD and has worked great for nearly a year now. I'm guessin the OCZ don't have the same level testing performed on them. I would still consider other manufacturer's SSD drives -...
Extremely fast hard drive! Windows 7 boots in about 12 secs. I was really undecided on which computer I should put it in, but I ended up putting it in my laptop, and I can say I would never go back to regular platter hard drives again! My only...
Very nice packaging, first use of drive seems speedy, but not more so than other sticks. No U3 "CD-ROM emulation", just a plain drive

With I would have exercised caution when buying something with few eggs. Know for next time.
We found not many features missing from the KS10. Of course adding an XMBC server to the player would have much better results for media sharing fans but the included Twonky server takes the job as well. And while Shuttle offers several other more...

The clone software works, the USB connection is spot on
They should have these on laptops!!
It's not a super fast drive. It is operating over USB so it will be limited to that speed (I knew this before I bought it). However it does operate faster than many other USB drives. I can't recommend it because of data corruption problems.
Got this for $31 here a couple weeks ago. As with many others, mine was DOA. Not recognized by the BIOS in either of 2 systems, and actually sent one of them into a boot loop. Wanted to just get a refund after seeing how high a percentage of these are...
