Cheap !

Risky product to buy. You can't get a refund for this product. Overall, the features listed for this product are great, if only they had worked.

Low price, slim design, and low price

Just about everything.. I plugged it in, and it even didn't work. Tried to RMA this thing 2 hours after I recieved it, but no refunds for this product available

Very Pleased

it plays almost anything i have tried in it, had a few tv ep's it would not play. but its most likely caused by them being poorly ripped, overall 95% of the files i have tried in it play perfectly

It plays almost anything, plays my burned tv eps, xvid, divx, mpegs even .wmv. all my eps are burned to DVD+R media and i havent encountered any problems ; plays all my store bought and burned DVD's both DVD5 and DVD9 /DL

the front tray is very flimsey, buts its not really a big deal, the remote is very touchy

Died Slowly in 3 Months

The remote control is really poor. You have to aim directly at the unit, for it to respond. The menu is also terribly slow.

Plays DivX, DVD, MP3, in PAL, NTSC. Basically plays anything you throw at it

The unit began to generate a high pitch sound in a month, the display turned permanently blank in two months, and the unit stopped responding completely on the 3rd month

Its Dead Jim! Its Dead!

Need to get milk and bread at the store tonight.

Plays DVDs. Works well with a universal remote

Remote Control needs to be pointed directly at the DVD Player - A Universal Remote works 100x better ; My unit died after a month, front pannel stopped working. After 3 calls and 2 emails, I finally got someone on the phone by punching numbers on their...

awsome for the price

plays really well, sometimes a little slow on the menu but not during play

cd tray feels kind of flimsy

Works well after 3 weeks

Use S-video only with non-progrssive scan TV's. I hooked up the 3 componate like my other DVD was set up and it didn't work. With some research, I found that these were only for Progressive Scan on this unit.

Plays almost all my AVI and Divx files. A few I needed to downgrade to Divx3 to get to work, but still look great. You can barely tell they are not DVD's. With 12 45min episodes of a TV show on one DVD, you can't beat that

Really gets warm, I've decided to put in a cabinet fan in my entertainment stand to help with ventalation. I think this is a reason my previous Divx player went bad. Rebate and warranty paperwork and mailing took some serious time

Nice for the Price

Great picture and sound, every possible DVD A/V output option, sleek looks

Weak remote signal, disappointing Divx subtitles, occasional skipped frames with some high-bandwidth Divx encodes

Nice for the Price

When you can get a player that handles Divx, Xvid, has built-in dolby and DTS downsampling, progressive scan, region-free, S-video, component video, digital out, plays PAL as well as NTSC, for 30 or 40 bucks, it's hard to find anything to complain...
