Good modern design, excellent crisp screen, dual headphone, plenty of extra functions

A little bulky

Our only complaint would be the overall thickness of the device, but if you are in the market for a portable DVD player, then this is certainly worth considering

LG DP391B review

A great portable DVD player that has enough features to keep almost anyone happy -- if we could change one thing, we'd increase the battery capacity, which isn't enough for very long plane journeys

Design ; Picture quality is stunning ; Plenty of features to keep you occupied on long journeys

Sound is miles too quiet from the built-in speakers, and a little too low via headphones ; Battery can't be replaced by user ; Reflective screen

Still, this little player shows others how it's done, and has plenty to offer as long as you accept its limitations. If LG removed the reflective screen covering, and made the battery a little more capacious we'd have given it an even better score....

It's been quite a while since we last tested a portable DVD player, but this £180 model from LG is an absolute cracker

Stylish design and solid build ; excellent picture ; plenty of connections ; twin headphone jack

BUY IT!

Excellent product, you will not be dissapointed. The picture is so clear it is almost High Definition. Sound is good clear Dolby sterio, but only with headphones - on board speakers are naff. All types of DVD work + USB & SD cards all play movies. DivX...

LG DP391B

Good design and ability to play DivX files and music from memory stick. Was bought for my son who is a video editor and can upload his own films to view. Can also be used as a stand alone DVD player and photo frame

None that I can think of apart from sound from speakers so is better using headphones
