A great value

A great value for the price. Will make the switch to an Hi-Def player once the prices come down.

Nice upconversion. DVI support. Will read all tpes of formats

A possible problem with the power supply.I am currently stress testing the player to see if the power supply will fail. Running it 6 hrs per day for the last 3 weeks and so far it is holding

I hope this help someone!!!!!!!!!!

Great buy and cheap. Maybe the cap will go later or maybe not, but for now I will just enjoy movies on my Vizio Bravo D1 DVD Player. Thanks Newegg you are the greatest.

Player is great once you make a small repair. Great picture and no skipping

After reading all the fixes and reviews, you are not going to beleive this. All I did was replace the IDE cable with a new one. Movies (Mainly DVD-R+) now play that wouldn't play before

Great player, with one (fixable) flaw

I'm buying a couple more, one just for a backup or maybe an emergency gift.

Excellent picture quality, long filename support, nice looking menus and file listing displays, DVI output, upsampling, DivX support

As others have mentioned, there's a capacitor on the power supply that will fail. Others have pointed out the web pages for how to fix it. For me it died within 4 hours of use, but it's a quick and easy fix if you have a soldering iron. Usually the...

This player require a $1.59 fix!!

Bravo D1 owner's should all review the discussion at

The BEST 1:1 pixel-mapped SD DVD image available on any player at any price. Period. BUT ... (see cons) ; People who say differently have not done their research

There is a $1.59 capacitor in the power supply that WILL fail and cause the symptoms some of the reviewers here have mentioned. Go to http://www.gray.mb.ca/bravo for instructions on how to change the capacitor ; BTW, the remote is lousy but for this...

You might be able to install another ide drive but it will make more noise than the original.

Very good picture quality while working

Optical drive died after two hours of use

Great Product

Basicly I looked high and low for a cheap player with DVI output and HD Upconversion and I finally found this one. It's a great product and I am very satisfied with my puchase. 1080i is incredibly clear, major difference from 480p. I have an RCA 52"...

1.DVI Output ; 2.Price ; 3.Picture Quality

1.Sometimes I get no picture and have to turn the player off and then on ; 2. Menu is terrible ; 3. Lack of DVI or Componet cables

Decent dvd player

The "uncommon" video formats like xvid will not play. It says it plays DIVX and it plays ONLY DIVX, along with the regular formats (DVD, etc...)

It plays DVD's and many different brands of CD-R's and recordable DVD's

Does not play xvid

VIZIO Bravo D1 DVD Player with DVI

Well this player has very good video quality through the dvi and and can convert the signal to a vga with an adapter, just get rid of macrovision. This player is worth it for the price. 1080i is the way to go

The loader for this player (optical drive) died after three days of using it so i just ripped open the player and replaced it with a samsung drive. Very easy to do its just like replacing an optical drive
