Panasonic - Smart 3D Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player with UHD 4K Upscaling

This player has a strong, fast wireless internet connection. Lightweight yet built well. Stable picture with no detectable jitters. I am very happy with my purchase.

Pricey like an Aston Martin is pricey and about as satisfying to own, this Marantz can play any disc you like, streams music at high-def resolutions and can withstand medium-sized earthquakes. If you really, really take movies and music seriously, this...

It doesn't read all regions. That is not true. Found on Amazon cheaper options that I didn't choose, just because this one's brand is Sony. So, not pleased.

It might not have all the advanced image quality features found in either Panasonic or Sony's Blu-ray decks, but the comprehensive smart TV services, integrated Wi-Fi and understated design more than make up for it, especially if you’re upgrading from...

I caught a good sale on this one. Thought because of that that it would be shoddy. Is working well for me so far and I am glad I made the purchase.

Sony BDPS7200 Sony Dual Core Blu-ray Disc 4K Upscaling Player

A piece of crap. It will not play unless you unplug it from the wall - wait a moment - plug it back in. You have to do that each time you want to use it. Sony had me FEDEX it to them (their expense) and fixed it or sent me a new one (don't know which)....

I only had this player for a few days before returning it. I returned it on the grounds it must have been defective in many ways, because I can't imagine a Panasonic player (a brand I've always loved and trusted) was meant to function the way this one...

Good DVD blu-ray player. As others have said the lack of a on/off light takes some time to get used but not a deal breaker considering the price.

This blu ray player is awesome. Not only can I watch blu Ray discs through it, I also get access to Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, and even AccuWeather.

Sony BDP-S5100

Sony didn't go back and reinvent the Blu-ray player with the BDP-S5100. They stuck with their successful formula and have what is a minor upgrade to the BDP-S590 from last year. The new design certainly looks nice, though I do have a couple of...

However when I ordered it, I wanted a recorder to record from TV for playback. For the price that I paid it should have done that. For that reason I was disappointed. The player it's self is excellent.
