Mixed feelings

I bought this to replace a Toshiba RD-XV47, a very similar machine (but without the Freeview), which was having trouble making DVDs after 5 years of good service. I didn't buy it for the Freeview as I'd never previously had any luck with it, and I'd...

I think I must have been unlucky

I have had three of these machines in the five weeks and all have had to go back to Amazon due to faults. The first one wouldn't record from external (everything else fine). With the second one the DVD drawer would not open. The third one was fine for...

Old video tapes restored...

Great device if you have old family tapes that you want to put onto DVD. The quality of the transferred images is very good. Also great for recording to hard drive for temporary storage until you have time to watch.

Top Toshiba

Brilliant piece of kit. The only downside is that the print on the remote control is in grey and rather difficult to see; maybe think about using white typeface in future.

RDXV60, NOT TWO YEARS OLD, faulted after 10 months

I purchased one after my previous units(3 x Funai) failed. Does everything, but the VHS is on the blink. I would have repaired, but by whom? DivX etc play very well.

First Class DVD/VHS/HDD Combination

I purchase this DVD/VHS/HDD 3 in 1 to replace my old equipment when we decided to do a full room make over and purchase a new Toshiba Led TV. I originally had a separate DVD player, a separate VHS recorder and a separate DVD recorder, I decided to...

Bad buy

I spend hundreds of pounds on Amazon and make purchased every week without any issues. This Toshiba product is the biggest load of junk I have had the misfortune to purchase. Since purchase I haven't used it, tried this week to make it work and get...

Good value at special offer price

My only criticism of this product is the fan noise, I'm sure that with a bit more thought this problem could have been resolved.Do not even think about putting the machine in a bedroom.
